I was hoping this restaurant would remind me of my childhood growing up in Brunei. But I was disappointed because the food is not even close to being authentic Malaysian. I ordered the Beef Rendang and Roti.
this place has changed location and I think owners. Mainly Malay styled food. Had a quick lunch. Both dishes were very good and close to what you would expect. Service was attentive and discreet, both dishes were priced at twelve to thirteen dollars.
Kampong House is always consistently good. We always order the same things, last time we went the waitress misheard our order, but lucky for us, the dish that came out was even better than the usual! Yum Yum Yum. Good to come with a group...More
Tasted like thin chicken stock with two minute noodles and some greenery. One of us had finished before the other meals came. The cutlery was grubby and no serviettes were offered. The waiter couldn't understand the request for a napkin.
Our family love this restaurant very much. it is one of our favorite.
The Big Tofu dish and seaseme pork dish and prawn dish and fried noddle dish and so many dishes we love there,

Whilst I enjoyed the company of friends family the food was soooo disapointing. Ordered a sambal which had no spice nor sambal flavour and which was indistinguishable from a different dish..and the waitress said that it was flavoured for the western palate.. yeah right
