Good pub food

Good pub food on a warm Monday evening. Bangers and mash was a hit. The cock burger being chicken was quite dry. The staff were friendly and the service was good although there wasn't many customers.

Drive down for the day and popped in for a late lunch on a Sunday. Service was great but that is we're it all ended. Their cock n bull burgers were just that all bull n no cock. Very average and expensive. Never again.

I have been here many times and enjoyed each visit, usually special time spent with my sister and family who live near by. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly. The last visit was with my 96 year old uncle just before he passed away and it was very wheel chair friendly and the staff fussed over him.... More

Standard of this English pub has dropped, the service was slow and the meals were not enticing. Staff need to up their game.

It just seems that "traditional" British Pub Fare is hard to get and the Cock and Bull continues that reputation..have been there twice over the last 3 years and on both visits left feeling we did not want to return. Atmosphere does promise a lot but the food is average at best, fried and generally tasteless and while the staff... More

What a surprise for a pub. Excellent attention from the staff especially as they were very busy. Well priced drinks and food. Quality of the meals was A1.

Great atmosphere with live music. The beer selection is great and food was good. Authentic English pub worth a visit.

We called in here for brunch with a group of friends. We were warmly welcomed, the food was great and the prices pretty good too.

The first time we came here the service was amazing - but tonight it was shocking, we waited 30 minutes to even get a drink! 👎

Popped in here after work. Had a Guinness by the fire. They bring a platter round but despite the barman locking eyes with me he chose not to offer me any food. Not coming here again, made to feel inferior. Off to Palate.
