Great meal. I recommend the pork belly starter. Stunning. The Daquoise dessert was delicious. Staff are helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere and quite quiet.

I had 4 breakfasts and a dinner at Tapestry and enjoyed the food. The breakfast food was hot and perfectly cooked. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient.
Dear Donna S, We are so pleased that you enjoyed the delicious food at both breakfast and dinner at Tapestry Restaurant. Our chefs will be delighted to hear that the breakfast was hot and perfectly cooked and our team in the restaurant most appreciative of your lovely comments on the warm, efficient and friendly service. It ought to be embarrassing to serve greasy fish that looks 80% batter and 20% fish...and tastes south of mediocre. And, wouldn't you think a server might wonder WHY I'd leave so much batter (shell) on my plate having literally picked out the small fillets of fish. And, the chips - basic frozen and deep fried..hardly anyone makes an effort... More
Excellent breakfast! Staff all very helpful and friendly! Wide selection of pastries, cereals, etc and cooked food to order! Coffee great and the best iced chocolate!
Very disappointing menu- fairly standard hotel fare without any surprised on the menu. Hardly any starters apart from some wanna be fancy 'Tapas'. Food quality is also like you would expect in a hotel restaurant so definitely nothing to write home about.
Pricy but very tasty dinner with all fresh NZ products attentively delivered to our table. The veal chops were cooked exactly to order and the line caught fish delicious.
My girlfriend got a Grabone vouchers which gives you 3 courses for $40 so we decided to make a ‘girls night out’ of it and get dressed up and go for a meal and bottle of wine at Tapestry, the restaurant in the Pulman’s Hotel. The restaurant was nearly silver service and the nicest of most hotels with a comfy... More
Dear ChianaS, Thank you for your care and detail in this lovely review. It was wonderful to be described as a gem in the Pullman Hotel. I am so pleased you enjoyed the food, including the perfectly cooked veal rack and Kalingo chocolate cremeux with lemon curd and meringue. This was a very inspiring review and not an easy one to... First class service and excellent, well presented food. When ordering the venison, however, specify how well you want it cooked. Ours was a little underdone for our taste but was soon rectified. We ate in the restaurant 3 times during our stay as the food was so good.

Dined with a friend on a 3 course Groupon deal, hoping for a great dining experience. All 3 courses were below average, dessert being the worst. Gave feedbacks to Rebecca (could be the manager on duty) when asked and she promptly tried to rectify the problem by offering a replacement of another dessert and complimentary teas to finish off the... Staying in the hotel, Gold Accor member. Went down for breakfast... what a mistake! Food cold, waiters clueless, slow and rude. Waited 25 minutes for tea and coffee (Dinesh this might not be the right occupation for you). Pushed out of the way by staff as they moved around the restaurant (yes physically... thanks Komal for barging past me) .... More
Dear Mark B, Thanks for your feedback regarding breakfast. No doubt about it, the morning you had breakfast was incredibly busy and we simply were not aware that so many guests that were on own arrangements would choose to have breakfast with us in a short time frame that morning. We constantly get fantastic comments about our breakfast and the... More
