I am not normally a fan of revolving restaurants. Orbit is an exception. The views are stunning, the service is top notch and the food is fantastic. It is pricey, but an experience that is very worthwhile.

I took my mom here for lunch at 1:30 . I did some research on the weather to make sure we got some good views when we got here. I have been there before for a dinner date with my partner and it's beautiful to see all the city lights at night but the orbit on a sunny day offers... More

Visited with my friends on a trip to Auckland and we were not disappointed! Great food and an amazing view over Auckland, all of Auckland since the restaurant slowly sound around. If you visit Auckland do not miss this experience!

As expected, the food was a bit overpriced and certainly not gourmet quality. But, it was decent enough, and the views made it all worthwhile.

The rotating restaurant was very cool and enables lots of fantastic pictures. The menu really is designed for adults and the prices are high. My daughter and I was NZ$160 for mains and dessert so you will need to dig deep. We would go again

We initially set out for the view but decided to have dinner up given it was $28 for the lift to the top and only an extra $47 for a three course meal, totaling $75 - looks expensive but when you think, it works out about £27 for a 3-course meal in a pretty unique location. The view was great... More

Like most people we went for the experience and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, particularly in comparison to the CN Tower last year. Our experience there was good but this was much better. All the tables are directly beside the window and we set up an iPad at the end of the table to do a... More

Been several times up to the revolving Restaurant. Great dining tremendous atmosphere and always something to look at as the Restaurant turns around. When you come to the side where the thrill seekers jump from the Sky Tower everybody wants to watch and contemplate. "Would I do that?" If you want to see all the sites in Auckland; One Tree... My husband & I had a beautiful meal here on the 13th April. Even though it was the day of Cyclone Cook we still managed to see good views. My husband had the Venison & I had the lamb. Service was excellent too. If you are dining at night and want to go to the shop, go there first as... More

If you want to dine with the views constantly changing of a very scenic city, this is the place to be. A full rotation happens every 60 minutes so it's not a place to rush through your meals at. The food quality doesn't quite reach the standard you expect in a fine dining establishment, but ultimately this is a place... More
