We loved the gyozas at Katsura followed by attentive and polite service from the Japanese host. All the staffs were very pleasant and welcoming. The ambience is very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend anyone to try out this awesome restaurant and support local.
Great Japanese seafood buffet dinner. The food was delicious with a very good choice and variety. There are two seatings, at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm, with the second one offering a 20% discount. Highly recommended Japanese restaurant.
My husband and I were staying at the Grand Millennium, so actually ate at Katsura twice, on our first and last nights at the hotel, and were nicely surprised. on our first night, i wasnt feeling too well so I opted just for the pork...dumplings, and the seafood ramen, which were very nice, and my husband went for the 7 course Kaiseki menu, which came out so beautifully presented, and he looked like he enjoyed every single mouthful I was quite envious. the service was lovely, the atmosphere peaceful, and we really enjoyed our meal. On our last night at the hotel, Friday night we decided to try the seafood buffet. the first sitting was full so we went to 8.15pm sitting. A buffet experience is not usually my favourite, i like to enjoy the presentation of food, and take my time through the meal, but with a buffet you do feel obligated to try everything, and you're up and down, so to me it was not as enjoyable as our first night. But my husband thought the buffet was well worth it and one of the better seafood buffets he has been to. to me the oyster and sashimi station was great, and it was replenished to cater to everyone. I wasnt so sold on the hot food station, we might have been better off at the first sitting when maybe some of the food was first cooked. although the chef did sear fresh beef and chicken skewers. I felt the service most definitely dropped at the buffet meal. i had to clear our own plates from our table which i moved to a nearby table, and we had to wave down for another drink. I would definitely return, maybe not for the buffet, but definitely i would go for the 7 course or Teppanyaki if i came again.More

A group of 10 friends had a most enjoyable night out enjoying the teppanyaki experience. The food was so good and we just had so much fun. I was super impressed at how well my vegetarian friend was catered for, and the whole experience in...general. Absolutely recommendedMore
