The restaurant was very nicely decorated and smells so good, the food delivers on the promise from the smells. It was great food and plenty off it. The staff were really great and kept checking on us but not too much. The food was so tasty. The cocktails were lovely too a good mix. They offer to pack up the... More

One of the best Indian restaurants this side of the equator. I was Visiting from Sydney and decided to meet up with one of my ex colleagues for dinner. Glad we chose this place. Being Indian myself I am quite picky about Indian food, but this was really good. The fish tikka was just melt in the mouth, and the... More

From the moment you enter , the ambience strikes you , the genuine decor , the sounds and smells and then the geeting as if you were a long lost stranger or family friend. Where is the 10 star rating and would surely nominate this for Michelin star/hat rating? I have travelled extensively around the world and have eaten in the best Indian restaurants (Michelin stars to hole in the wall kinds) and this is one of the best hands down. While the ambience and the location of this restaurant is awesome (view of... More

Our expectations were managed from the time we made the table reservation. The food was delicious. The service was good. Would definitely recommend a visit for good Indian cuisine in Auckland CBD.

The sad thing about this precinct is that it used to be one of Auckland's most bustling markets - and it used to be rammed with people at the weekends. =Today it is a bit of a ghost town most days and it must be at the crossroads for its future. The food was great. We went out for a... More

Four of us stopped here for dinner while in Auckland waiting to board a cruise ship. We went early because we'd been up a long time for the international flight. We were glad we did. The place filled up quickly. At the waiter's suggestion we each ordered a different entree and shared. We had lamb shank, lamb with puréed spinach,... More

My husband and I both agreed that this was the best Indian food we have had in New Zealand. We each ordered a appetizer, a main dish and a cocktail each and loved everything. The flavors were bursting with the right kind of spices! Our service was great as well...would definitely come back.
