We live in the area and visit here frequently. The food has improved greatly over the years. It is not your run-of-the café food, but far more interesting. They have some good craft beers and of course wines. It gets busy on weekends so pays to book. Also check they are open, as it is a long drive and they... More

On par with the French Cafe. Metro top 50 in 2016 for sure. I usually do not have time to review restaurants but have specifically made a point to review this exceptional establishment. My wife and I dined here Friday last week. We are locals and have been coming here for a good meal and reasonable wine for some years.... More

This is a little restaurant built out of old stables with a covered enclosed area outside. It serves all organic food but at a good price and offers different dishes - not your usual run of the mill food. Good service by Woofers and friendly staff. It is only open towards the end of the week and weekends and holidays... More

Was looking forward to a lovely lunch and the food was tasty but in such tiny amounts it really was embarrasing. There were 10 at our table. Main course, 1 fish, head and tail intact on a small dinner plate, between us which meant about a dessert spoonful each. The dessert was laughable. Imagine a tiny ramakin of crumble, two... More

We have been here a few times with various friends and always had a memorable experience. A lunch time platter to share, a glass (or 2) of their fabulous wines sat under the canopy looking out over the vineyard. The staff are always attentive and not over bearing, food is simple, well presented and about the right quantity. A lovely... More

The French themed evening was a step back into rural France. The food and service were excellent. The Frence band was very authentic and could not be mistaken. The atmosphere was relaxed, happy and enjoyable to the point where a couple got up and danced, because they could and wished to, which added to the evenings enjoyment. Taurange Creeks own... More

we have had both lunch and a Friday night drinks here and the three occasions were excellent. Food is great, staff are friendly and efficient and the wine is more than drinkable!! A casual Friday night munching on pizza and platters of breads and dips is a great way to wind down a busy week, with the obligatory sav blanc... More
