we ordered an islander and a traditional kebab they really tasted fantastic and we plan to go there next time to have some different dishes which on the special list.

Visited solo on a Friday evening before a gig on K-Road and ate in. Although they had ran out of my first choice of Lamb Chops I opted for one of the other Chargrilled Lamb Skewer options washed down with a couple of beers. Brilliant...and friendly service. Would recommend to ask to go easy on the sauce options however..More

Great neighborhood find! Very good chicken and lamb kebabs (both) in a welcoming setting. Fully licensed. So do toilet.

These are the nicest kebabs I have tried in akl yet...fresh and in hot bread. The first time I went very quick service, but the second time could have had my order in half the time if the two girls serving stopped chatting to each...otherMore

If you don't mind ordering at the bar and waiting for your food at the table, this excellent and varied menu will not disappoint. The food was promptly served and hot. The four guys running the place worked hard to please while carrying on with...each other in agood humoured way. During our excellent meal of lamb kebabs we witnessed the delivery of 2 hookahs to a neighbouring cafe, a replacement of a bar fridge and a lively debate over who's turn it was to clear the vacant tables. The place is located on a vibrant eclectric street, more lively than any we'd seen in 3 days of our visit. The large volume of take out orders to people who were obviously regulars speaks to it's popularity. Though we didn't have the pizza from the wood fired oven, they sold many and they looked great. The size of the establishment is slightly larger than your average subway, with food being prepared in front of your eyes. They also allow you to bring your own wine for a small corkage fee.More

I was grabbing a Cookie Pie at Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar and asked for a quick and tasty spot nearby to grab something and I was directed here...I don't know if it was the fact that this was my first Turkish restaurant, or that...I had zero expectations, but the kebab was downright delicious! So wish I had had time to go back again because this is certainly something I didn't get enough of (especially since I had to share with my kiddos!)More

If you are around Krd in Auckland and you are looking for a quick bite, affordable but you still want fresh, good cooked food the pizza here is a great option. Fresh ingredients pizza cooked in proper pizza oven 👍

Head to the high point of Queen Street and turn right at Karangahape Road. Just a few steps away are MANY QUALITY Trip Advisor eateries: Argentinian, Mayalan, Thai, and TURKISH. The Little Turkish Cafe is a gem. Service is terrific and the food plentiful and...good. We had the Chicken Shish Kebab ($17) and Mussaka ($17.5). Both came with mixed salad, rice, and delicious hummus. We could have shared one plate for a full lunch. The kabab consisted of about 16 large nuggets of white, tender, chicken breast meat. The Mussaka was covered with tasty Bechamel and Mozzarella and huge. Avoid the small kebab counters and head up the hill to a feast. It is nice to see the "A" rating for Cleanliness certificate on the wall.More

We were pleasantly surprised to see this eatery in New Zealand and went in for lunch. The food they served was delicious. The Kebap was very tasty. Busy place but full of happy customers.

Yesterday i went to this lovely cafe, as i have been there many years ago when i used to go to Auckland regularly, and i loved their food their food back then, especially the freshly baked bread. It is still very nice food and excellent...bread which I recommend. I forgot my phone in the taxi on my way to this place, yesterday, and was a bit stressed as i had to fly back to Wellington. The lady behind the counter was amazing! It is unfortunate that I forgot to ask for her name in the middle of my saga, which was happily resolved by the way, but I just want to thank her and thank her employer for the best quality of food, service and friendliness of staff.More

Surprisingly good authentic Turkish & Mediterranean food at reasonable prices in this unprepossessing place. The spit-roasted chicken and lamb kebab (aka shawarma) were very tasty. Moussaka also very good. Good wine & beer selection.

Certainly a good pizza and the staff were very friendly. Beer was served cold and was a reasonable price.

Had dinner here and it was good. Price was reasonable and we were stuffed when we left. Had Chicken Kabob plate and Moussaka and both tasted good. Also had a bottle of beer. Place was busy but we got a table to sit down and...eat. Dinner was served up pretty fast.More
