Highly recommend the stuffed squid it was incredible. The vegetable curry was also a stand out. It’s quite expensive but so worth it. Nice wine menu and non alcoholic menu too. We loved our visit here and would go again for lunch or dinner.

After our quick pre-dinner, drinks down the waterfront turned into an extended 3 hour session, we thought we’d be pushing it, to get a table for 2, at Cafe Hanoi. We were right, the restaurant was humming, and totally full, meaning we’d have a 45...More

Always a pleasure to eat here, the food is fresh and flavoursome, the variety wide and suitable for all palates. Ideal group lunch, sharing choices or a more intimate lunch for two. Great staff, good wines and beers, wide range of dishes. A perfect location.

Description
Café Hanoi is a modern Vietnamese restaurant housed within a heritage warehouse space in Britomart, the city’s oldest commercial district. The restaurant reflects our passion and respect for Vietnamese food and culture. Our menu offers authentic Hanoian street food that has made the city world famous, and other more modern dishes that pair traditional Northern Vietnamese cooking techniques with the best of New Zealand produce. We are very careful to choose ingredients that have been sourced with a deep respect for the environment.
