This restaurant, although pricey, has a good spread of different cuisines. The salad counter was impressive, with help available to mix and toss your choice of salads. The selection of meats, grilled to order right in front of you, is excellent. Chinese dumplings still steaming on heat, served with sides of your choice. All this, as part of a buffet.... More

Every time I dine at eight I try to come up with another excuse to go back there soon. This is the best buffet I have ever been to and the food quality is incomparable to any other buffet. The only bad thing is how stuffed I am at the end of it.

Sensational lunch at Langhams Eight. Absolutely amazing buffet of soup, prawns, salads and a incredible selection of fresh sushi, oyster, fish and steak, lamb meat to choose and order from the bar also a Indian section to pick and choose whatever selections you wish. Finish off with a variety of petite cakes, creme brûlée, chocolate fountain and ice creams. Quite... More

Such a disappointment. Opulent settings do not make up for the very average and overpriced food. Some items of food were stone cold by the time one got to the table (soup, veggies). Some of the staff manning the stations were clueless about their ingredients. Other staff were chatting away in their own language amongst themselves in front of patrons... More

We were given a meal at the Langham by our realtor after she sold our house as a thank you for choosing her to sell for us. We were so looking forward to it after being told how wonderful it was, how there was a strict dress code, and that the food was to die for. We arrived to a... More

We recently stayed the night at The Langham so had breakfast at Eight. It absolutely beautiful, such a great selection of food, hot and cold, fruit etc. I had an omelette made for me, which the chef was happy to do.

Have dined at Eight twice now and it is so worth the price just to experience all the different food. The only negative being that I got full way too quickly. There is something for everyone here and it was a very enjoyable meal and good service.

The buffet dinner is very expensive ($109), however the range of food is very impressive. Who would have thought you could get alpaca and kangaroo here. I like that you could choose your meats and seafood and the chefs cook it right there and then. The sirloin was very, but what i liked was that while the portions are very... More
