Good honest pub food
Despite the fact I drive past nearly every day this is my first visit to The Good Holm.

Don't really need to say anything more than go there and have the steak, Guinness, and vegetable pie! Swooning and salivating at the very thought of it, washed down with ale from the good tap beer menu.

This place was a welcome surprise. A delightful choice of menu options. I can only hope that they open a restaurant further south. The squid was perfectly cooked, as were the other dishes that we shared. Service was also impeccable.

Located in the back streets of Mt Eden, this pub/restaurant is a good find. Serving decent pub food, it's certainly not fine dining, but good if you want a reasonable meal.
