Was excited to visit this restaurant after having been to Teppanyaki in the Gold Coast & found that Midori was in the Entertainment Book. Only concern when we were there was seeing lots of chipped plates perhaps indicating a lack of care & attention. Nevertheless, food seemed good. Had a fun & enjoyable evening. Although staff did seem quick to... More

Was actually looking forward to trying a Teppanyaki Restaurant but was left a bit disappointed after this experience . If the best thing they have to offer is cooking an egg on a hot plate and trying to flick it in patrons mouths then I think I could could cook the same food on a hot plate and make it... More

My partner and I had never been to a teppanyaki restaurant before and had always wanted to go so we decided to finally give it a go and choose midori over nobu. We were seated right in the middle of a group of people and watched as the table next to us got there meals cooked for them. The chef... More

We felt very let down as despite making it a point upon booking that we wanted a chef who could perform and do all the tossing and performance that teppanyaki(well westernised anyway) is famous for, we had almost no performance at all, as opposed to the table opposite who had the proper experience with food tossed into your mouth etc.... Ok it's not the cheapest place in town but the food quality is high and service is good I'm a regular and have been since 1987! If the meal seems a little too fast etc just ask for the chef to slow down and do 1 dish at a time.., The more you interact with your chef the more fun... More

Love this place! Have been a couple of times and always has a great atmosphere, the chefs are very entertaining and the food is delicious! The price is on the high side but you pay for what you get! Pay the extra and get the garlic rice!

This is a great place out. Not somewhere you go every time as it can be quite expense. The layout is great, it can get hot from the stove. The food is great and love desert upstairs

First up, Midori is not your weekly joint to dine at because the cheapest set starts from $65. Yes, they serve ala carte as well but that only applies from Mondays-Thursdays (but again, that isn't any cheaper). You must understand that the price you pay doesn't include the food ONLY, but the experience, social aspect, attentive service, etc. Unless you... More

Great quality of food, great customer service!! We always get the seafood set, and are never disappointed. Yes, it is priced in the higher range, BUT if you want a dining experience you won't forget, and amazing food, this is the place to go!!
