This cafe was recommended by friends. We searched for it where it is easily located along Murray Street. No doubt the food is not only Malaysian but also delicious. Not feeling the same after eating there recently. Guts crook. Chicken was cold and male workers there looked unkempt with no hats and casual clothes. One worker sat outside and smoked right next to me. Doubt if any has done hygiene or safe food courses....Pretty annoyed that my stomach is suffering. This restaurant is Malaysian serving a western buffet meals, able to be served for breakfast. I had little experience here but it must be good because it had guests from my hotel. When I go back to Perth next year this will also be my...dining experience.More
Our family enjoyed the meal we had in the cafe. The nasi pattaya, nasi ayam goreng were delicious. Can compare to the taste found in Malaysia/Singapore. This cafe has been around for many years and provide Malay food at reasonable prices. Buy from the food displayed at the counter or order specific dishes from the menu. I noticed that display food very often are not in right temp. I was there 3 weeks ago and found undercook chicken with my takeaway food. I went back and told them. For me, Chefs are not trained well.
We have learned about this halal Malaysian restaurant months before our trip and looking forward to have mixed rice for lunch there. We were literally disappointed with the service and taste. Even the toilet is relatively dirty and not appealing to use
Went in for lunch, ordered, and paid, looked up, the waiter that serve me was no where to be found, and no number was given to me for my order. Sat and waited for half hour with no food. Went to the counter wanting to...talk to someone end up waiting for another 10 mins because waiter is serving other people that came after I have gone up and waited. Finally caught someone and was informed that it’s not started cooking yet. Request to cancel the order and wanting a refund triggered them to ask if I can wait furthermore for them to check again. No. I got my refund and told them I’m going next door. Went next door, ordered and paid for my food, takeaway was ready in less than 6 mins. The waiter even confirmed my order and apologised for the extra min wait. Good food should be complimented with good service. And the service in this place is appalling. Will not return.More
Had the nasi goreng kampung, nasi goreng ayam and mamak mie between the four of us. Although I wouldn’t go to say it is authentic but it was good enough to satisfy my craving for fried rice.
