I had curry intestines in Japan and loved it. The intestines here left a lot to be desired. Very chewy, no depth to the flavour. Sizzling platter was the most pathetic sizzling platter I've ever seen. It was hardly hot and not sizzling and the flavours were not great either. I enjoyed the chinese beer and the san chow bow... We have had a few great dinners at Billy Lees. Always ask for no extra msg, never had a problem. We order a few dishes between my husband, my self and our two year old, always have plenty left over to take home in the takeaway dishes provided (just ask). Garlic king prawns are delicious, not just a bowl full... More

I hadn't been to BL's for quite a while but found the food to be as good as it has always been. Can't really go wrong with this place which has become a Chinatown institution.

Eaten here dozens of times over the years and still get the same great service and only the very best food By far the best Chinese food in Perth and a real authentic atmosphere and worth learning how to use chopsticks for the great food. Did I say the food is GREAT!!!!

Followed the crowds from Fringefest into Billy Lees but was disappointed. Chose the peking duck. Small portion. Brought the two courses out together. Not enough vegies with it. Charged us extra for a few pickled veg. Had the same dish next door the week before and it was 100% better. Will not return to Billy Lees

Needed a quick meal before going to a show. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and came out quickly and efficiently. BYO, so we had a couple of beers, with no corkage charge. And all the food was reasonably priced. So a great -quick - and cheap Chinese meal.

Visited for dinner when Uncle Billys was full up. Was fairly empty at 7:20pm on a Monday. We ordered quail for a shared entree which was a little overcooked. For mains we ordered the beef ried rice which was pretty dry, the peking beef which was excellent and honey chicken which lacked flavour. Service was good and friendly and the... More

Went there twice, for both dine in and take away. Food alright, used to be and could have been better. Very much a food joint for the after hours clients (late night supper). Space a bit tight, with guests (sitting/walking) bumping into our chairs as we eat.
