Ventured in for a long black this morning and was happy with the quality of the coffee. Not too bitter which is always a plus for me. Decided to come back for lunch because the breakfast food looked pretty appetizing. Had pulled beef and salad for lunch. Beef was a little on the salty side and a few bits were... More

If you want a freshly made tasty sandwich then this is the spot! If you're Irish, come down and get a sandwich a reunite with some of your fellow country-women. Staffed almost exclusively by a gaggle of Irish-imports, service comes with a smile.

Good fresh juice in here and the coffee is good too. Good on price too. Will definitely return. Plenty of seating both inside and out

Came here with work colleagues for a quick work lunch. I had the chicken schnitzel with two sides (which included mashed potatoes) for $13. Huge portion size and it was delicious. It was nice sitting outside in the sunshine too. The restaurant was very busy by 12:15pm.

If you want a lunch served quickly this place is great. Lots of variety but they are usually rushed off their feet so don't expect service with a smile although you will sometimes get a gem who believes in customer service. Food is not outstanding but I do go there once or twice a month as it's close to work.

This has been a regular work lunch spot for a few years. They do sandwiches, rolls, salads and hot meals. I have had a couple of different lunch meals here but my favourite is the pulled pork. Mmmmmm. Yummy Service is quick which definately helps when you only have limited time for a lunch break.

I think this place has gone downhill a bit in quality and quality of service. Had some incredible lunches here, but had some mediocre ones too. The spicy chicken schnitzels are top class but unfortunately the salad that accompanied it was tasteless. They consist of fresh and unique ingredients but it's just bland and dry. This is what happens when... More

Are we talking about the same place? Some of the reviews for TCB seem completely at odds with my experience; I've been here several times (The Cloisters) and got a really nice sandwich on fresh bread with quality ingredients for just $8.50. You can't beat that for lunch (at least in Perth you can't). And it's clear the hired help... More

My office is near this cafe and I make it a regular in the mornings, over the other local stores. The staff are always well presented and polite, the coffee is great and the food displays are beautiful. I've not had a bad meal/coffee here yet.

Thought I'd try this placed based on recommdations from friends. Pulled beef was very watery and the roast vegetables were a serve of undercooked potatoes and carrots. Serving size was also very dissapointing for the amount paid.

Thank Paul C
