This is one of my favourite restaurants in Perth, and a favourite for a girls night catch up. We like to start our nights here with a delicious dinner and cocktail jugs to share! Had the lamb on my last visit and it was melt in your mouth amazing! Ordered hand cut chips as I felt I might need a... More

Took my wife here for her birthday. Service was excellent as was the food. We share the focaccia entire with evoo and balsamic which was delicious. I had the beef cheeks for main which was simply delicious and my wife the pork belly which was also delicious. I had a great Shiraz recommended by the waitress. Only down side was... More

5 of us ate here on a Wednesday night. Good crowd, but great food. Service was attentive and knowledgable. Highly recommend beef cheeks with Jerusalem artichokes. Best meal I've eaten in a long time and well priced. Great work chef.

My wife and I visited on a Friday night and surprisingly it was not as busy as we would have expected. The service was very good - attentive and helpful. We were seated in a booth at the back of the restaurant which was quite good. There were some tables in the middle of the floor which would not have... More

We popped in here just for a cold one and stayed for hours. The atmosphere was good and the 18hr Lamb shoulder was sooo tasty! My husband loved the Shadows of Night blue on the cheeseboard and I had the brulee which was so big I could have shared it (but I didn't). An excellent place to eat.

We went here for dinner on a Friday night and it was surprisingly quiet. This is a little out of the main food area and more in the CBD which may be why, but it was a real shame! The service was great and the menu had lots to offer. It terms of pricing it is definitely a fine dining... More

This place was reccomended to us when seeking a late lunch option. We were pleased that they took orders to 3 pm. We enjoyed the corner booth and the quiet ambience of this restaurant. The waitresses were helpful and patient, giving us advice on the menu and allowing us time to deliberate before ordering. We chose the steak and an... More

I randomly happened to read an article recommending The George for their steak and thought I'd try it as good steaks are few and far between in Perth. Suffice it to say that we weren't disappointed! We started our meal with a glass of champagne and the baked delice which was creamy, and gooey inside and great for a cold... More

I had lunch with a friend at The George recently. We'd heard that the food was quite good and indeed it was. We ordered the Fremantle Octopus and the housemade Duck Parfait. Both were incredible. The parfait was silky and faultless. For mains we ordered the 18 hour lamb and the slow-cooked goat. The lamb was gelatinous and caramelised. The... More

Lovely greetings on entering restaurant, great private alcove tables. On trying to choose a wine the waitress was helpful and allowed us to taste before ordering, great idea. Two of us ordered the fillet - best ever, melted in your mouth, one had sirlion, such a enjoyable meal, thank you The George, and we'll be back.
