Arrived at 830pm, welcomed at the door straight away, got a table for 5 and service kept going all night long. Water and bread came out just after being seated Mains followed after with an amazing wagu beef burger, would highly recommend

Visited this restaurant twice now as had to come back for more porterhouse steak! From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left, the service couldn't have been better. Such friendly and helpful staff. The wine was also lovely as was the atmosphere within the restaurant. Will be back again :)

That was good. Think I ate too much - so much for the diet. Great meal - ribs, steak, tasting tray. Good food, good wine. Great service. Thanks team - book me in again soon.

The comments promised so much but our experience was disappointing. The Williamstown location is not great and does not live up to the Squires Loft reviews. For the price you pay you expect good food and good service, that is what makes the pricing structure acceptable. The prices are closer to fine dining than pub, so you expect what you... More

Quick meal with a local mate; good chat from the service team having rolled in without a reservation to a busy restaurant on a Sunday night. Everything was on point / best steak I'd had all weekend / drowned in some great red by the glass. Can't complaint, can compliment, can't go back as don't live there but would if... More

Just been once for a business lunch. Very impressed with my rare porterhouse. Would highly recommend for a lovely lunch near Sth Yarra station. Service and wine list top shelf. It's not a cheap eats place though...but you get what you pay for! A mate in Noosa told me about the one up there and recommended I try one in... More

Now this is silly, because this is not a special place insofar as it has three Michelin Stars or is renowned around the city as the place to buy steaks. Because it's not. There are lots of places to buy steaks and many are, I'm sure, just as good. But I first came to Squire's Loft in 2000 and I... More

I really enjoyed my dining experience at this establishment. After seeing all the great reviews I knew I'd have to try it out for myself. It's best to book on the weekends as the place filled up quickly after we arrived. The service was fantastic, everyone interacted and gave us recommendations etc. The food is the reason you come here,... More

Description
The first Squires Loft was opened in 1992 in Church Street Brighton. Our reputation for consistently delivering great steaks and unique flavours led us to a larger store in South Yarra where we are still located today. The success of the Squires Loft formula and demand for Squires Loft branded products led to substantial interest from staff, customers and business owners who wanted to duplicate the business. This has resulted in 15 steakhouse restaurants operating around Australia. These steakhouses are located around Melbourne, Country Victoria, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Western Australia. Further steakhouses are in the pipeline and there is significant interest, which we believe should lead to more Squires Loft steakhouses opening. As a result of this demand and significant recognition of the Squires Loft name, Squires Loft FRANCHISE Pty Ltd has been formed to enable the expansion of the brand.

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighborhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
