Quick, cheap, no fuss, delicious Italian. We heard about this place from a barber in a small WA town. Happy we stopped by whilst we were in Melbourne. Thank you for your hospitality. Keep up the great work.

A local favorite, the front is bar/counter service and primarily a coffee bar with amazing looking Italian desserts. The back has a small kitchen with table service offering Italian pasta dishes. The food and interaction with locals at the communal table was fantastic. Highly recommended....More

I like this no frills restaurant. No menu offered. Everything is written on a board. Quick service, good and big portion of pasta. Good granita. This is not a place for romantic dinner or a place to impress your date. You just sit on the...More

Came here with friends occasionally - it's a casual relaxed family style diner which serves good pasta. Service is quick, prices are reasonable. Good choice for cheap eat on the go.

This iconic place is a slice of Italy in downtown Melbourne. Awesome coffee, steaming plates of authentic home cooked pasta or soup, a major treat on a cold winter's day. Leave your pretensions at the door, pull up a seat at the bar and dig...More

Most seating is at the bars, I am not sure they take bookings.

I do not believe bookings are available. Its a very fluid atmosphere. You walk in, are seated on the benches and stools. Just ask the staff what specials or what is good to eat that day and they will recommend.
