Let there be no doubt that the food is wonderful. This is arguably the best Japanese food we have experienced. The service is attentive and professional. The choices on the menu are first rate. Then there is the downside. Ambiance in the downstairs room was certainly high-class but rather dark and dingy. Even though the restaurant was only half full... More

Staying in Melbourne for business you often want something close to your hotel. For me, I was staying at the Crown so the location is easy. I often just want something light for lunch as business dinners typically centre around lots of steak and bottles of red. Being by yourself on business can be lonely, but rocking up to the... More

Been to Nobu a few times. Staffs are great, booking online easy, food especially the omikase are just work of art, and yummy, exciting because you are not sure what you are going to get next! Not a fan of cold noodles but the rest, absolute yumm!

This is s great place to celebrate our friends 60th. It's a Tuesday night and the place is nearly full. We have decided to do the chefs 8 course menu, it's very good and certainly plenty of food, maybe the 6 course would suffice next time. The staff were excellent and the night was a great success. Can highly recommend... More

I was not fully satisfied with this restaurant the portion were very small on big massive plates that took up the whole table. Prices were overpriced i thought. So a thumbs down on this place. The atomsphere they had a DJ playing loud music. It felt like i was in a nightclub.

The food at Nobu is amazing, the flavours are so well balanced and the dishes were all delicious. The soft shell crab was my favourite! The disappointing thing we found was that the service was slow, not good enough for the cost of the meal. We ordered 5 dishes - 2 cold and 3 hot - ad all but one... More

We were planning a trip to Melbourne to stay at the Crown Towers and thought we would spoil ourselves with a fancy restaurant that is world known. The place was very different to what i expected. Firstly I thought the place would be quite stuffy being so upmarket, it was quite informal with a more relaxed casual dining experience. The... More

Nobu lived up to its reputation for high quality Japanese food in Melbourne. The portions are well sized and the service is highly efficient. The menu is priced on the higher but worth the money.

My wife and I went to Nobu without a reservation for dinner after a movie at Crown (Monday 13/2/17). Initially the staff were friendly and readily granted our request to move tables to a window booth. The first waiter forgot my beer. I got it 20 minutes later after a reminder but no apology. Our table was under an aircon... More
