Excellent food

The restaurant is located in the hotel property and their food is great as usual. I went there at lunch time and it was quite busy and the service wasn't very good due to busy lunch hours. It is an expensive luxury restaurant so they could've offered better service I guess.

Nobu is a flavour combination of fresh Japanese and Mexico. We asked and ordered their two signature dishes the Yellowfin Tuna and their Blackened Miso Cod and it was delicious. A light and refreshing lunch on a hot Melbourne Day, the staff, the view and the food made it a very memorable lunch!

We go this time every year and as usual the food was great. The service was excellent and they were very helpful and attentive. But - We often order the same things so we were very disappointed to see that the prices have gone up while the serving sizes have shrunk. Our favourite: the Rib looks like it is half... More

From the moment we sat down we knew we had made a mistake. The techno music was so loud we couldn't hear each other, let alone the waiters. The tables were jammed in very close to each other. There were kids running around and whooping with no discipline from their parents - at 9pm! Our bill came out the instant... More

Our visit to Nobu was exceptional. I dined with a friend and from the moment our wonderful waitress Natania greeted us we were wowed. She explained the different options for ordering, either straight off the menu, or that she could create a personalised menu for us or we could go with the chef's suggestions. We chose to select a few... More

Visiting from Sydney, my friend and I decided to have my early birthday dinner here. Service was friendly and helpful, albeit slow, bringing us our dishes in a recommended order. The Beef Tataki and Black Cod Miso (melts in your mouth) were definitely the highlight of the night, finished off with the lovely Nobu Tasting Plate. However, having said that,... More

We came here last Saturday for a girls' night and it was amazing. We chose several dishes to share and this turned out to be a great way of trying a variety of dishes without being locked into a banquet. We had soup, sashimi, tempura prawns, wagyu beef, soft shell crab, a veggie dish and rice. Each dish was beautifully... More

There are a few changes on the menu. They have taken my favourite cocktail off - Passionfruit with White Chocolate which is such a shame because it's a massive favourite for my girlfriends and I. The lamb cutlets were so rare my husband couldn't eat it, which it normally is slightly seared either side. The tempura prawns were just not... More

Fancied the look of the menu so booked for the evening of Australia Day. The waiting staff were really happy which always helps put you in a good mood. The spicy tuna cut rolls were the best I'd ever had and the salmon skewers just delicious. We ordered a few other things too equally delicious. Fab meal, fab service and... More

My husband and I have been twice. The first time was great as we visited on a weeknight when they weren't full. The food was incredible so when we booked again for a Saturday night we were still very impressed with the food but no so impressed with the close proximity to the other guests plus how loud it was....
