Great friendly service EVERY time. The staff always welcome you and make you feel at home. The pizzas are always GREAT. If fact everything I have had there has been great and the are portions generous. The Scallopini Funghi (Baby veal topped with a creamy mushroom and onion sauce, served with potato and vegetables) is not for the faint hearted.

On a recent trip to Melbourne we visited Cafe Rosco twice as they were in close proximity to our Hotel. We were not disappointed. Their pizzas are generous and very tasty. The next night we had schnitzels and again we were very impressed with their fresh tasty meat and beautiful home made sauces. Cafe was warm and inviting on a... More

We ate at this place Pizza because of the good ratings on tripadvisor. 1. The Pizza came absolutely tastless. No Pepper, No Salt, No Olive Oil or Herbals 2. An Italian Pizza would be never thick like that. 3. A lot of Groundedham have been used for the Pizza. One good Point: The staff was friendly.

Hi Nicolas, Thanks for the feedback.... Yes you are right.....the pizza is bad...... FOR YOU!!!!!! I only wish you let us know your expectations, we would have modified the pizza (which is made from scratch) to suit your taste- buds......we make many pizzas the traditional way for clients....when asked....... Take care.....and if there is another potential visit let the wait... More

I generally come here when in Melbourne for business as its close by. The food is good and reasonable portions, not too little & not too much, it's all about your selection/choice but I've had both pasta & pizza here over my visits and each time it's been good, not fantastic but good. Wait staff are friendly and attentive.

After an authentic, home made style food, in a family friendly café? Try Café Rosco. My sister in law and I had to vacate her unit for a couple of hours due to a meeting being held there. I had the vegetarian risotto ($20.50) and she had a (large) entrée of lamb cutlets ($18.50). We didn't order wine but thoroughly... More

A friend who lives around the corner took us here and we could see why it was his favourite eating place. Staff very friendly giving great service along with really nice food. The Pollo Avocado was divine.

Always get great pizza here for work and home, tried all 6 but my tip is the Americana (with extra olives of course boys!) or Mexican. They will change the order to suit. I have been going 3 years... Chicken pizza great and the veal parma is a real mouthful. Bring a doggy bag.... This and the Roscos Chevron are... More

We have been eating at this restaurant on and off since our children now in their twenties were small. It's still good. Pizzas are rich, tasty and make you want to come back for more. Despite an extensive menu I always order their pizza because they are so good. Whether it's a quick drop in before a night time event... More

Visted after seeing some good reviews, the service was ok people seemed nice. We ordered a gluten free pizza (deluxe) not the best very bland needs salt, ham was terrible, too much cheese & sauce. The other dishes were ok but pepper overkill. So we're pretty disappointed an Italian Restaurant should have good Pizza!

Francesco, Thanks for sharing your tastebuds... I gather from your feedback that we did not meet your expectation of serving a traditional Italian style pizza..... with leg ham (ours is high quality pizza ham) and very little cheese, tomato and toppings...and of course thin and crispy. The definition of a Good pizza can be very individual. At Cafe Rosco, we... More
