Pasta special of linguini with prawn and salami was fantastic and so full of flavour. Very friendly service and great price will definitely return

Title says it all really. This place is famed for it's spaghetti bolognese but I found it to be very average, service was sub-par and the bartender needs to learn how to make a French Martini. My advice, walk about two blocks away to Little Bourke st and Mezo, you'll thank me.

We loved this restaurant which three nights in a row! Loved the staff and the food was amazing! I don't normally drink wine but their red wine was amazing and hot chocolate is awesome!!! You feel like family in this restaurant!!

When in Melbourne we often go to spaghetti tree for dinner. This was the first time we had lunch which was good but a bit disappointed that the lunch time menu is not on weekends. Service and food was good as usual but we might have to find a place for lunch next time

Had an early dinner before going out for the night. Great service & food was lovely - not too rushed either. The calamari just melted in your mouth and the tortellini was great! A very pleasant meal!

I have been here several times now and have always enjoyed the food. I do believe their service leaves a bit to be desired. Manager pretty good but staff can be hit and miss.

Friendly staff, kitsch quirky decor, good solid Italian food, big serves and reasonably priced. Add some good company and it makes for a great night!

Yesterday we chose the Spagetti Tree for quick light lunch close to The Princess Theatre. Neither DH or myself wanted a heavy meal. We were attend very quickly when we made enquiries about a pre-theatre meal. We chose to sit outside as the weather was sunny. Straight away a friendly waitress came with glasses and water and then bought back... More

Ate here before a show at the Princess Theatre. Had told them we needed to be at the show when booking and on arrival. Service was good, staff very friendly , but between our shared Bruschetta and mains there was quite a wait and we were a little worried we were going to be late. It turned out ok but... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
