Selected this restaurant on the basis of its clientele. Massive restaurant over three floors and very popular particularly with families. The food we had was outstanding and it was therefore disappointing that it should be so badly let down by its service. The waiter we...More

Wow! We met friends and family at this restaurant for a birthday celebration and from the initial greeting to the farewell, service and food was excellent. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented and as we had “wine buffs” in our party who brought...More

Not sure about my review title. Not sure why it has taken me 10 years to return because SFH is certainly far better than many yum cha restaurants that I have graced in Melbourne in the intervening years. It was a choice between spaghetti down...More

Had a banquet at this place but found the food was very ordinary with small portions on the 8 courses. Have enjoyed better for less.

Looking for a relatively quick dinner before a show, this was perfect. Service was excellent, food was delicious, hot and was perfect for the occasion. Have recommended to friends and family travelling to China Town in Melbourne to eat there. Highly recommended, will not disappoint.

We were on a mission to hunt down lobster noodles for dinner, and the one at Shark Fin House sure did not disappoint! The noodles was very tasty, and lobster was succulent. The minimum weight for the order of lobster for the noodles was 1kg,...More

There were 7 adults and two kids in our family. Without prior reservation, we arrived near noontime and was promptly and courteously ushered to the third floor (the restaurant has 3 floors). It was fully booked. Dimsum carts were brought to our table and a...More

Still the go to for great yum cha in Melbourne. Don't expect silver service just sit down and eat. It's amazing that most bad reviews of this place tend to be about service yet it's always jam packed from 11am. Block out the noise and...More
