Great service - unsure about which Riesling to order & whether it would be too sweet so the waiter happily offered me a sample. Unexpected great service in a cafe. The parfait was superb. Everyone had a fabulous late lunch.

I don't know where they source the eggs and bacon, but the freshest I've ever eaten. My colleagues also egg dishes and were super impressed. Service was friendly and formal. This is the way that a restaurant should be.

We are from the country and had the pleasure of visiting Melbourne twice this month and both times we paid a visit to one of our favourites for breakfast - Richmond Hill. The specials are very special, the service snappy and the prices spot on. The regular dishes are great and coffee just right. The last time I had a... More

Had a recent lunch here with friends. Very crowded and close together. Nice offerings but generally underwhelming in content. Dishes were expensive for what was presented. Mains were disappointing (we had Lamb shoulder and fish of the day) and the pasta of the day was very small! Sweets very underwhelming, we had Tarte Tatin which came out like a home... More

I had lunch here mid july and it was a happy experience thanks to the great service and delicious food. We were treated very well and our waiter was extremely attentive. A new menu had just come out that day and I had a delicious pasta deism with veal & thyme, very tasty. I will definitely return to this cafe.

Don't bother making a booking to go here - they don't seem remotely interested in honouring them! We have eaten here several times in the past and know that it is busy so when we wanted to take our friend for her birthday on Sunday we made a booking to ensure we got a table. Arrived at the restaurant to... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are sorry we were not able to seat you immediately as previous reservations made by other parties stayed longer than anticipated so whilst we were preparing their bill and clearing a table for you we estimated a 15 minute wait until your table was ready, giving you the option of... Had lunch open steak sandwich melted in mouth . Lovely home made realise. Sweets was a poached pear in mulled wine on top of a pavlova . All great value and presentation good. Staff were friendly with seating inside or outside. Is licensed . Has a very Italian feel.
