Amazing Japanese food, very close to the original Japanese taste, while a very friendly atmosphere comes close to the ideal Japanese experience. It is worth it.

Fresh Sushi and Sashimi, I must say. I came here alone, wanted a light meal, what I got, not bad, but many Japanese specialities I wanted were just not available in this restaurant. Seems such things I can easily get in Hongkong, Shanghai, Taipei, and...More

We went to Kenzan on a recommendation from our concierge at the Sofitel. It was very authentic Japanese. We shared a delicious salad and then had the beef and the eel. It was my first time eating eel and I loved the taste and presentation....More

Recommended to me as the best Japanese restaurant in Melbourne, it did not disappoint. Crowded with a waiting queue, it clearly has quite a following with the local business community for lunch. Many were clearly regulars, greeted by the owner by name and family knowledge:...More

A rhetorical question which is hard to answer. The staff are amazing, setting great. Pricing is reasonable but up there. Then comes the dishes. Fried chicken was perfection? Yes it was. The Sashimi is the best I've had in Australia.

Had a really great meal at this restaurant. The sushi and Sashimi basket fed five of us simply and was delicious. Followed by three teriyaki dishes all highly recommended.

An absolute must for all Japanese food lovers. Service top class from start to finish. Food outstanding be it sashimi, sushi, tempura or other. Even the desserts are a real find. Will try to always retuen when in Melbourne.

A wonderful Japanese restaurant in downtown Melbourne! We generally don’t expect much from restaurants located in downtown mall areas but this one is wonderful. You can expect them to be very busy, but also very efficient. The menu has a broad selection of foods and...More
