Was here with friends for dinner without a booking, was accommodated near the door so we asked to move which they obliged willingly. Menu is extensive. Food was lovely however the servings are not generous at all but rather small. Prices are a little higher than what you would expect for chinese. Nice atmosphere and service was good at the... More

I arrived at the Dragon Boat with 20 others hopeful for a good meal. While we were served promtly the imediate service was terrible. Having never been to this estalishment before there were mixed expectations. Though after having eaten there i have no doubt about the type of business they run. At $25 a head the food was dismal at... More

This is one of the few places in China Town that does gluten free, but even then there isn't a lot of gluten free options here and they have been going downhill in this area. They used to be good by providing gluten free soy sauce but then they just stopped doing this. The most annoying part, they always ASK... More

Love this place and had our dads 50th birthday here where we enjoyed the banquet. It's not cheap but a real experience of flavours and textures. The service to our group was excellent and I distinctly remember chuckling when I accidentally dropped my napkin and two waiters argued in Chinese as to who got to place it back on my... More

Had to wait in line but did not take long as tables change quickly. We had Peking Duck delicious, chilli beef, Singapore Noodles and Bird's Nest Combination. Staff were amazing friendly and expert in service. Drinks by the glass plenty of Chinese Tea. Reasonable price and strongly recommend.

We had dinner here and then on our last day we tried the yum char. As we were only 5 people it didn't matter that there was not the variety we normally enjoy in Wellington. There was enough. It was nice to try a new water chestnut jelly dessert of jasmine flower and Gogi berry. Chicken feet ,Shu Mai dim... More

Wonderful food and excellent service - we stopped for lunch and were blown away by the experience. Food in brought to the table in heated carts and you select what you would like from each. There is no pressure and you can take your time and enjoy the experience. Great variety of food and very well priced

We had a group of 13 people and without a booking on a busy Saturday night we got a table without any worries. Fantastic food, great service and an overall excellent experience.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
