I had the Duck Pie which was to die for. High quality ingredients and impeccable presentation! Great atmosphere, busy and good vibe. Will definitely be back, one of the best places I have eaten in Melbourne.

We stopped in for a late (birthday) lunch on a Friday afternoon and the place was busy already but cosy and friendly. The food was outstanding - the duck pie from the special menu was really something and the veal was delicious. I have to mention the service, after a few hours here we felt we were part of the... I took a client to this restaurant as we couldn't get into another one he likes. WOW, the food was awesome and the waitress staff very friendly and had loads of personality. The barman was well trained on wine and suggested a very good wine based on me verbally explaining what I normally enjoy. Make sure you try the Blue... More

The place has been in St Kilda for many years and has a very good reputation and is often very busy at night.I like the seafood marinara which is fresh and quality. Its also good for a quiet romantic drink in the back bar up the side lane.

This place along with it's sister restaurant Ilona Staller are the best restaurants outside of the city. I LOVE the feel of this place including the back bar. The food is amazing (I've had everything) but my favorite is the tuna carpaccio. They never try and rush you out even though they are always busy. It's a locals place and... More

Visited last night to celbrate a birthday with a small group of nine and we were given the private back room. Lovely setting and the $60 share plate menu was delightful. Terrific variety and plenty to go around.

I don't know Acland Street well but I suspect that this is one of the few Italian restaurants. This can mean either poorish quality or pretty good. Fortunately Cicciolinas is the latter. Good selection of Primo and Secondo dishes, experienced staff and a reasonable wine selection. Most of all it's just a good place to enjoy a meal

we have been going there for 10 yrs and the food is always amazing. Some signature dishes will never fail you. The antipasto platter is always devine and full if dufferent flavours. Get in early if you wnat to eat straight away as you cant book or wait out the back in the cool bar eating snacks and having a... More

It seems everyone has been here and love it for its traditional well priced Italian cuisine.Despite living not far away for the past three years,we finally went last night. Its informal,a bit chotic but the food was fantastic. We had one of the many specials, shell pasta with Mortan Bay bug meat, peas and chilli at $35.Excellant and not overpriced wine list. We... More

This cosy dark small but perfectly formed Italian has been on my favor list for 10 years. Brilliant quality , tasty Italian with a fine dining without the fuss atmosphere. You can't book but when you enter down the hidden alley off acland st, pop your name on the list and then head next door to wait in St Kildas... More
