4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

This tiny restaurant was a mixed bag. There were 4 of us for dinner and we shared the antipasto platter and a carpaccio for starters. Both were terrific. Tasty and fresh. The platter was very generous too. For mains we all had pasta but with very mixed results. 2 good 2 not so much. The crab ragu was more tomato... More

Not only was the food here amazing, the atmosphere was just perfect. The waiters, all with Italian accents, make the entire experience a joy and are very professional. It is very low lit and romantic - perfect for a date night!

Great decor, warm welcome and fantastic food with good wine selection! Had a lovely evening from start to finish. Started with the oysters and antipasto with Chablis and then we had the linguine and raging with home made pasta. Not normally a big water but finished everything! Shared the panna cotta which was the only thing that didn't quite meet... More

Dropped in for lunch with a business colleague because we were there and we were hungry. Service prompt but not pushy. Classic classy Italian menu. My pork fillet was superb.

Great Italian restaurant and well worth eating at. Authentic Italian with lots of Italian yelling in the kitchen. What more would you expect in a busy Italian kitchen, comes with the territory. Pleasant and worth the money. I will be back. I was there for wine tasting with the wine maker from the Barbaresco wine region in Italy. Done in... More

The venue/setup and the wine list stands out about this restaurant. Since the days where Langtons was in here, this is a stylish fit out and always good for taking clients etc. Great wine list. Good for lunch. Never had dinner here but I imagine would be great if you had plans like theatre or a show in the city.

Booked for a dinner with my parents. Cosy restaurant but enough space on the table. Attentive and friendly service. Really good food and wine - I recommend the pork. Can't fault it

I couldn't fault this restaurant. This was my first time visiting and I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice for an intimate dinner. The calamari is probably one of the best I have ever had, it was delicious and left me wanting more. For a main I had the lamb ragu tagliatelle which was gorgeous, and my partner had a... More

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighborhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
