I used to frequent this cafe when I worked in the Block Arcade many years ago and it's still worth the visit. Food and coffee where excellent as is the ambiance. Never dissapointed.

After finding that so many cafes in Melbourne were closed in the evening due to Covid-19, we were pleasantly surprised that Cafe Segovia was open and better still they had food for a Coeliac which was a plus! My mother and I really enjoyed the...food and the atmosphere of the cafe, the owners(I presume) were very friendly and made for a nice feel. We returned for breakfast yesterday morning as we knew it was a safe bet they would have Gluten Free bread. We will return :)More

Excellent service from friendly personable staff and excellent food meant our group made this the breakfast choice for our three day visit. Tucked away in a tiny laneway with additional indoor seating on both sides, it was ideal. The French waiter was highly efficient, welcoming...and fun. Avocado and pea smash, and waffles with smoked bacon were favourites. The coffee is hot and strong. Great place, will be back next time in MelbourneMore

This cafe has good street appeal and it is pleasant sitting outside in the sun, people watching. Service is friendly and efficient. The food was quite ok and reasonably priced. However, probably not much to differentiate from the many other cafes like this in Melbourne.

“I’ll clean your table once you sit down” ... it’s not that appealing sitting at a messy table, but we did. “Do you know what you want?” ... it’s hard without a menu. I’ve coffee tasted ok. Not anything special but not bad. Without a...menu I didn’t know what I was paying for this ... apparently $15 for 2 coffees and an ice coffee. Not terrible Cappuccino was acutely a latte with some chocolate sprinkles. One serving lady was pleasant enough, the other 🤔 Plenty of other coffee shops very nearbyMore

Cafe Segovia is a cute little cafe in a handy location. We had lunch there and 3 of the 4 options were great. The Caesar salad, however, was not. It was a bowl of chopped up iceberg lettuce, a small poached egg, burnt croutons with...over cooked bacon, 3 small anchovies and what tasted like mayonnaise from a jar. Service was friendly though.More

Nice little cafe in the Arcades. The seafood linguine is a true classic and worth the effort to find in the Arcades. Our party also had a beef burger and the special of the day Segovia Risotto which were better than average. Reasonably priced, good...service with great atmosphere.More

The service was OK but I wasn't wrapt in my meal - scrambled eggs with pesto, hash brown, bacon, etc. To be fair, other dishes night be OK but I didn't particulaly like mine. Service was fine, but not outstanding so when next in the...area I will instead visit one of the many neighbouring cafes.More

Thanks for your review and your feedback on our dish. I have to say that it is a popular dish so I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it as much as a lot of our other customers have. Perhaps you can try something else next time...More

Past the cafe by a chance one evening and decided to try as we like the sounds of the menu and the place looks very cosy and inviting. It didn't disappoint. We had the seafood linguine, pan-fried salmon and some baked mushrooms to share. All...of them are faultless. Each seafood cooked perfectly and the salmon has nice crispy skin with pink in the middle. We also ordered a bottle of wine and shared a piece of to-die-for tiramisu. The service is friendly and is a pity that you close quite early, 8 pm? As I saw the waitress turning customers away. Will come back on my next visit to Melbourne👍🏻More

Had the Segovia Paella, Very good. Great place to eat & watch the world go by. Only oddity is that you have table service but have to go into pay.
