Okay we were a party of sixteen and patient at that lol Really slow service, had to ask twice for drinks menu - they couldn't find a spare one - great dumplings Peking duck Rolls, calamari but some of our ordered dishes didn't come and we had to follow up. I would recommend maybe a couples visit but not a... More

Service was incredibly slow in every aspect, booking, getting seated, providing menu and then bringing food and drink. Had to find then follow up staff multiple times. Although they restaurant was busy, the staff didn't look busy but as they weren't checking tables it was hard to get their attention. Food and beverage quality very good, though one dish was... Walking in to the restaurant, a small table of tea greets you. Sampling some of the house teas is a great way to walk inside this Asian fusion restaurant. The dishes are great for sharing. The menu is not as authentic as you would expect, but the flavors are nice. The upstairs cocktail bar was a nice treat as you... More

This is a terrific Tursday night family and friends dinner destination. Evening yum cha with soooo many delicious things. $30 a head. Excellent - also some of the nicest staff we have experienced.

Very crowded establishment and parking is not too easy to find, but the food is very good. Yum Cha is fairly dear. I took a group out for the night and everyone was happy with the quality of food and service.

All the dishes we ordered were of a good standard, the decor was typical trendy South Yarra, wine list was adequate, the staff were friendly but they forgot to bring out the last two dishes. Al least they were apologetic.

The staff and the surroundings were very pleasant but the food we ate was average. We were a table of four and we ordered Dim Sum to share. The food that arrived was of average taste and quality, however it was quick to come to the table. The main courses were also average. The shredded beef was tasty but very... More

Went there for the first time last week, and was so impressed, went back again a week later. Could not recommend this place highly enough. Their menu is a real twist on the normal dumplings, with some other amazing dishes available. The food was sensational, but what set it apart on both visits was the waitress we had. If more... More

We came here on the recommendation of our hotel. We had a short wait for a table, which we spent across the road in a pub, and were treated to an amazing parade of dim sum as part of their Tuesday Night Special. More food than four of us could eat came to our table, so we had to pick... More

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighborhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
