After reading very good reviews about this restaurant i decided to go and absolutely loved the food over here. I opted for their buffet. Food is authentic and tasty. Only downside is that food quantity is less and this place is very expensive. Need to book well in advance as this place is super booked at any given time.

The service is warm and hospitable at Abla's. I confess that we always eat too much because the food is so fresh, delicious and authentic! Abla is a warm and gracious owner/host who sometimes visits the groups in her restaurant to say hello. Her passion for cooking good fresh and tasty food and making sure that, 'everyone is having a... I have visited Abla's on and off for many years. She is the 'queen' of Lebanese cuisine in Melbourne. But my recent trip was a disappointment. The tabouli was very coarsely and poorly cut, very little tomato, and the dressing lacked olive oil and allspice - too lemony. The cabbage rolls did not have any tomato or lemon sauce on... More

Visited Ablas last night and had the banquet which was amazing. The food is like what my Lebanese grandmother used to cook. So authentic, delicious and fresh. The service was perfect as well. All the dishes are there to be shared which we did and the serves are large! We could finish the chicken and rice or all the desserts because we were all... Very old school. Excellent kibbe and labne. Large servings. Would be better with a group of four or more so you can share more dishes. The gar fish was good, but a little over cooked.

A small place and we found it to be a bit expensive. Food was alright, nothing special. So not impressed with the food quality. The service is pretty good though.

As fans of middle-eastern food, we sought out Abla's on a mid-week evening and found it pretty full - a good start, popular with locals. The food was exceptional, varied and tasty dishes, we opted for vegetarian selections. The atmosphere is friendly and the service professional. Reasonably priced; don't miss it!

Was here for a friend's birthday dinner and was very excited in advance as I had heard good things about Abla's and love Lebanese food. The whole experience was ok and there were some things that were really delicious (eggplant dip, spiced sausages) but others that were just average or a let down (great rice with the chicken but dry...
