Beautiful oasis in a sea of buildings. Food was perfect in taste, portion size and presentation. Had the Ricotta hot cakes and I’d be impressed if you managed to finish it. Service was also excellent, with staff being very polite and attentive. Definitely worth a...visit if you’re in the area.More

walk past this place all the time and clearly the locals are limited with choices and are happy to line up for coffee / breakfast. Was after a quick coffee this morning , and literally the only one waiting for my order the girl hands...it to some dude that just walks up to order. After he has his hands all over it at least they work out it is not his and go tip it out and prepare another one. The lady that eventually brings that out zero apology or acknowledgement in fact I actually felt she considered it my fault.. Crap will never waste my time again here... the regular coffee is marginally bigger than a medicine cup..3-4 staff there with no customers still can manage to stuff orders and are rude....More

Just the most beautiful Terrace hugged by high rise. Great coffee any time from the quick and convenient coffee cart out the front or stop in for a yummy breakfast or lunch

Nestled between the high rises is this beautiful little gem! We were very happy we found it! The service and atmosphere was great. The portions are big exactly what we needed to start the day. I had the mushroom dish and I couldn’t recommend it...more.More

I’m vegan. They have an amazing selection of breakfast / brunch ideas. Soooo tasty. Great value. Friendly. Fast service and they were full. Best almond coffee. They were open on Monday the public holiday ... yehhhh. Thanks Kettle Black for the amazing experience.

We had a lovely breakfast here at The Kettle Black. The coffee was really good, as was also the food. I had the avocado dish and added in some mushrooms. My daughter had the most amazing pancake I have ever seen.

Our favourite coffee and breakfast or brunch place in Melbourne. Great coffee, great food. A little pricey though.

Absolutely amazing food! Perfect for breakfast and lunch. Beautiful looking well made healthy food! Came back in here to eat again while visiting Melbourne. Coffee was so good and good quality. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

Really, really popular brunch place, and one can see why. The food is delicious, and the coffees well crafted too. Not cheap - most main dishes running $20+. Their egg based normal brunch dishes are just OK, but the standouts are the hot cakes and...the waffles. Go for those if you're coming here for brunch!More

Cup of coffee yes. Work not really, it’s pretty crowded when we were there and there were people waiting for seats.
