I'll get the bad stuff out of the way so we can end on a high. You can't book for dinner but they do take bookings for lunch. Also, you only have about 1 hour 15 minutes before you will be encouraged to move on so the next group waiting to grab a table can come in. Once you move... More

Just had an unplanned dinner here following a work event. Food was spectacular, Asian style and flavours. Amazing mix on the menu, style and awesome portion sizing too. Price really good too for dinner. Will most certainly be returning.

What a fantastic lunch we had here. Perfectly cooked and amazing flavours. Everything on the menu sounded interesting but we eventually settle of 5 which we were very pleased with (lamb ribs, wagyu beef, duck, fried chicken, BBQ pork). We will definitely book a table again for lunch when we next visit Melbourne.

Learn from this guys; There's NOTHING so super"duper"natural about it, they don't even have a single linen/table cloth on any of their tables, all stools/uncomfortable for a long session but their food and ambiance is much much better and more authentic than Neil Perry's million $ Spice Temple at Crown Complex. If you've been to both, you would know what... More

The place was busy throughout, we sat outside and it was OK but not overly comfortable. The food arrived one by one which was again OK as served tapas style. A fair amount of good flavour, although a couple of the dishes were sold out. Nice concept but for the money and comfort, it did not fully reach five stars.... More

A great walk up Asian Fusion Restaurant in Melbourne's CBD.Be prepared to wait as usually very busy and can take up to an hour to get a table. They will text or ring when the table is ready. Fabulous food with wonderful flavours ,limited wine and beer list but more than adequate for the food choices. The very helpful and... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
