The Grain Store gets busy. There is always a wait to get in and that’s why I past over it last time I was in Melbourne This trip I had the time to wait -about 15 mins- to get a table with a steady changeover...More

Good range of food to choose from. Excellent barramundi, spiced cauliflower was OK although a bit lacking in spice. Local wines and beers. Prices reasonable for the area. Service was efficient and pleasant. Well worth a repeat visit.

Amazing food with an impeccable presentation. My friends and I had lunch here and we could not be happier. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend it!

We rocked up at the Grain Store without a booking on a Saturday afternoon, three adults in tow with a toddler and a baby in the pram, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us with a table with enough space to...More

Found on trip advisor so we thought we would give it a go. Warmly greeted and seated promptly the staff were very attentive and lovely. Poached eggs on toast and pancakes were ordered after coffee and freshly squeezed apple juice. The homemade tomato relish with...More

The Grain Store, contrary to what its name says, doesn't just do grain for breakfast. It provides a wide range of breakfast food (including dessert). We made a booking for a table of 4 on a Sunday, and we were thankful we did. The place...More

Had a very nice brunch here. Portion marginally on the small side but delicious. One gripe which prevents me going back was the awful scratchy plate! Like nails on a blackboard to me.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary

even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
