Visited here at 10.30pm after a sporting event at MCG. Large queues for food as only one person taking orders, food arrived cold , tasteless and dry. The toilets in the restaurant were disgusting and you could smell them from 20m away. The restaurant in general felt dirty. Will never go back here..... Hungry Jacks- you have some work to... More

Hungry Jack's is in Swanston Street,Melbourne, just up from Flinders Street Station, Melbourne's main suburban railway station. The hamburgers are ultra cheap, it's often very busy. All sorts of customers can be found there, Hungry Jack's is great for a quick meal or a snack..

Easy eating in the middle of the city! Very large and roomy too! Good old every day hungry jack food and a good way to escape the hussel and bustle out on the busy streets of Melbourne!!

Nothing to say about the burgers, they taste the same than in the others hungry jacks I just wished I did not have to try 4 times to order something simple to an employee who couldn't understand me. I could blame my accent but cheeseburger and fanta are not difficult things to say or understand.

I just had a long flight and the last thing I wanted to do is eat a crappy burger. Well that's what exactly happened! The flat white coffee is literally flat! I guess you pay for what you pay for.

Lukewarm burger, limp fries and weird tasting cola. And the dirtiest toilets we've seen since Abu Dhabi arrivals hall. Only for the desperate, and even if that's you, think again.

Hungry Jack's sell hamburgers and chips, quickly. That's what most customers want. They are not gourmets, or they wouldn't go there. I go to Hungry Jack's when I want food fast. And yes, I do think the burgers are better at Hungry Jacks.

Thank Jeffry B

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
