If you are into Southeast Asia cusine, then this is the place for you. Loved almost everything about this place, except that we can not reserve a table for group of less than 8 people. Despite that, I have been to this place several times and enjoyed every dining experience there. You can head downstairs to GoGo bar for pre-drinks... More

After hearing all the rave and not wanting to join a queue for an hour, we finally got in today. I was expecting an explosion of flavours but unfortunately this was not the case. Although I can't say anything was wrong with the meals, unfortunately they were not very exciting. Now I can at least say I've been but I... More

We went there four of us together and shared four plates and it was absolutely amazing! It is the best food I've had in Australia and I've been traveling in Australia for two months. The cocktails were really good as well and our waitress was lovely! The place is very hip and was busy. The table was definitely worth the... More

Recommended by a friend this place was fantastic. It was too busy upstairs so instead of the wait (we had a show to go see) we opted to go downstairs. It was nice and cosy. The menu was the same and it was absolutely delicious. The food came out quite quickly. Food and drinks were fantastic.

We had three of the small bites and one main which was the rendang curry with sides. Packed with delicious flavours, I cannot fault this place! Our waitress was also very knowledgeable on the menu and offered recommendations. We waited an hour and half to get a table. Went away and had a few drinks and got a call to... More

Cant deny food was great, the sashimi was to die for however the manner in which the restaurant manages tables is appalling. I can accept no reservations but when 80% of our party is present I expect to get a table. Instead they made us wait until every member of a table of 6 had arrived. This left a bitter... More

The biggest problem this place has is getting a table. However if you do, it is worth it. Some memorable combinations of flavours with Thai inspiration as well as great beer (try the Shiki) pairing and some unusual non-alcoholic offerings. The reason for the lower rating is because wait staff said the food is meant for sharing but it soon... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
