Location and contact

Roule Galette is a little piece of France in the city where you will find French staff, speaking the language of Voltaire who will serve you in a warm and intimate setting reminiscent of Montmartre in Paris. Music, whether Breton or French songs of the last century or more modern times will accompany your meal along with authentic Cider from the Pays d'Auge in Normandie, or Cotes du Rhone or Burgundy wines. Not to forget the inimitable Orangina.

We spotted this place down a small side alley- and I’m glad we did! The galettes are very good. Next time we visit Melbourne, we’ll be back for more

Petite lovely creperie in Flinders Lane. Very popular with locals. Close enough to see your crepes being made and enjoy the ambience. French style. Lovely authentic experience!

Dropped in here for lunch with the wife and daughter about a week ago. The galette forestier was delicious but very filling. The ladies enjoyed their egg and bacon versions. The staff are charming, young French people and the location could not be more central....More

Hadn't been here for a while, and were a bit disappointed that the menu has completely changed and is now very limited. Last time I was here I had snails!! Despite this we enjoyed our crepes. Few veggie choices too. Busy and cramped, but nice...More

We just had the most amazing galettes with egg and cheese for breakfast. Staff was really friendly I and the central location is perfect. Although the place is pretty small, they managed to fit everyone inside.

My wife and I had breakfast there, really great savoury crepes! The coffee was also great. The price for the desert crepes is a bit high though

Went for galettes one day for breakfast and it was so yum we just had to return to try their crepes which also turned out to be equally delightful! Friendly service too! Just a note that its a bit on the small side.

Came here for dessert after having lunch somewhere else. This is a tiny French creperie. Absolutely yum dessert. Chocolate, ice cream and almond crepe. The restaurant is in a lane and have taken over space across the lane also.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
