We were looking forward to our visit to La Belle Miette but unfortunately we came away disappointed. I thought that it was going to be a little like laduree in Paris but it wasn't at all. Macaroons were crumbly and a bit dry.

I have been here three times now and they make the most amazing macarons. I recommend to anyone who wants a french experience, as this shop is in a little side street and the set up makes you feel like you're truly in France :)

I visited this one and the one in spring street, the service and environment in spring street one are way better than this one. The Marco Polo tea is so good with macaroons. I tried the peach, lavender and earl grey, the lavender one taste very so so, can only taste sugar sweet, the peach one is good. The texture... More

Many flavors to choose from on the macaron. The chocolate ice cream is also rich and delicious. Nice to indulge in the desserts!

This is my favourite macaron place, which I make a point of visiting whenever I'm in Melbourne. There are a range of flavours, all of which taste exactly like the description. Prices are in line with other macarons from other stores.

Love love love Le Belle Miette. The flower macarons are my favourite by far. The salted caramel was average. I tried the Easter specials both were really nice and I got some chocolate eggs for Easter. They tasted lovely and everything looks so pretty here. The staff are always super friendly. The texture of the macarons are really good here... More

They've got lots of flavours available and all of them are incredibly delicious (I bought a box with 15 flavours and 2 Easter special separately). Easter special: milk chocolate Easter egg and hot cross bun, both of them look absolutely beautiful and taste amazing!

These are perfection. Beautiful pastel macarons and the flavour is amazing. If you need a Parisian hit this is the place to go

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
