Ideal little location in a large building offering superb lunch choices. Good coofee and fast too. Bright area with light streaming in.

I purchased the $8 breakfast wrap which included a Hot Drink. The wrap was very nice, cooked perfectly. I had a hot chocolate (unusually needed the sugar boost) and it was served with a waifer biscuit. Overall i couldn't fault this quick breakfast, i was in and out in 15 minutes. Overall recommended.

Stassi makes the best chicken focaccia. I was in melbourne for 2 weeks and must have gone to Stassi 5 times. Loved it.

Located on the ground floor of a multi-storey office block on Queen Street (almost on the corner of Latrobe Street), I can highly recommend Stassi Cafe. The owner Maria and her team provide impressive coffees and muffins and this is demonstrated by the long queue of customers in the morning especially.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
