Paid $40 to enjoy crepes at Como house French festival only to get more than one hour old crepes reheated! They were left uncovered for all that time and were no better than shoe leather by the time we got them! Never pay for this as you will be grossly disappointed! Yuck I would have been better to buy fresh... More

Still great fun and authentic food a very naughty waiter made it unclear which of use was being chatted up, so we both enjoyed the light hearted and professional attention. The food is not challenging, but its well cooked, flavoursome and well presented. Have the prices got a bit out of control ...... perhaps?

This place is FANTASTIC! The crepes have this distinct authentic taste and the sauces are absolutely rich in flavors. They were done beautifully in both taste and appearance. It is best to have them with a glass (or bottle?) of French ciders and/or coffees. This is what I've tried (and love it to this day!): Savoury Crepes: Trois Fromages (3... More

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighborhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
