As far as coffee goes it's great, novelty items adorn to place to the point of it being a not for sale thrift shop. I must say though I am tiring of Cafes charging $5 for a regular size takeaway that they call a large.

They have done it again! Every time we come here we are never disappointed. The staff are professional efficient and polite (same friendly faces), the kitchen churns out amazing high quality fare and the coffee remains one of St Kilda/Balaclavas' best! We had 1/ avocado and feta mash on toasted sourdough, 2/ the spicy potato rosti with harrisa, rocket, fried... More

I caught up with a girlfriend and had heard the coffee was good so wanted to give it a try. We weren't disappointed. Service was great. They kept topping up our water without us having to ask. I had the cinnamon sugar brioche with berries and coffee - delicious!

Staff very friendly and greeted me by name on my second visit. Food healthy and delicious with reasonable prices. Good vibe and well worth a visit if in this part of town. Recommended

We dropped in for lunch on a weekend trip to Melbourne, the food was fabulous and staff so friendly. We loved it so much we went back for breakfast the next day and they remembered our drink orders. Highly recommend.

I love this place. It serves the best coffee I've ever had. I have breakfast/lunch at Batch a couple of times every week, and I crave their coffees on the days that I don't. Service is always quick and friendly, and the food is tasty and fresh. I think I will be addicted to this place for life!

This NZ themed cafe has extreme competition in Carlisle St St East. The staff are professional and lovely, the food is fresh and fantastic, the coffee is excellent. This is a family friendly cafe. Books and crayons are available for the kids and sometimes stamps ans stickers at the counter. Space is small so large tables are difficult to accommodate.... More

Popped in for a coffee which was great. Menus are inside old books which is different. Plenty of options on menu. Food good and fresh. Friendly wait staff. Great little place to pop in for coffee and snack or a meal.

Great, tasty, fresh food presented well at a good price. What's not to love. When you're not sure what to have the recommendations are helpful and the staff are so lovely.

Great coffee and fantastic food. Flavours combinations are divine and just different from every other standard breakfast place. It is busy so I suggest getting there early, particularly on the weekend, otherwise you may have to wait for a table. I have been here many times over the years and it never fails. good customer service as well.
