We were looking for good seafood on our last night in Melbourne and Bacash certainly did not disappoint. We enjoyed fresh oysters, calamari to start followed by great whiting simply grilled or in batter with delicious dauphinoise potatoes, salad and fresh beans. Their Friday nights allow BYO, a rare find in Melbourne now. Four of us dined at Bacash and we can highly recommend this superb fish orientated restaurant. Every dish we ordered was beautifully plated and the flavours perfect. We visited Bacash on 19 December (Monday) The restaurant was nearly full at 7pm. Michael Bacash is becoming (if not already) one of Melbourne's finest chefs. Nice setting, excellent food with some very interesting menu items. Price was on the high side. They comfortably accommodated our group of 15.

Went to Bacash for a pre-Xmas fish lunch with an old friend. Food, wine and service were excellent. My daughter and I dined here tonight and both were disappointed with not only the food but the service also. A recent birthday visit for dinner reaffirmed in my mind that this is Melbourne's go to restaurant for seafood. Michael is the best fish & seafood chef in Melbourne. The quality of produce is second to none. Lunch consisted of whole NZ flounder, spaghetti marinara, salad & frites. Absolutely superb.
