Had the most delicious brunch yesterday ! The smashed avocado was so fresh and filling, never had a vegan egg before but it was insane. Partner loved his big breakfast, the vegan bacon was particularly yummy. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The interior is...a vibe, loved all the plants!More

Just got a “enough to make a mango bananas” sounds really nice but it wasn’t, had way too much ice in it and not much fruit

When I travel to Melbourne st Kilda I always stop in at least once for a meal here. I’m a vegetarian and organic food is important consideration as well as cruelty free food. I don’t have time to cook my own and I don’t think...I’ve been able to finish a meal, they are big portions and my eyes are always bigger than my stomach. I will ALWAYS order the cacao almond latte because it’s F-ing fabulous.More

Nice staff, but the matcha latte with almond milk was disgusting. I make my own matcha latte at home and have had it in Japanese cafes before and Mylk Bar matcha latte does not come close to any if those. Instead of bright green colour...it was pale green and the smell was awful. They are using either very low quality matcha or I was unlucky and got an old matcha batch. It should be kept in the fridge in an airtight container and away from light. Anyhow, I would suggest drinking matcha latte somewhere else.More

I don't usually order pancakes for brekky but I just couldn't pass up on the chance on trying their famous matcha pancakes, so I thought I would balance it out with a healthier Acai bowl. I also wanted to order their plant based fried chicken...burger and others, but I thought maybe having two brekky bowls is enough for the morning. I guess I will have to come back and try the others.More

Since we became vegan my partner and I always wanted to visit the Matcha Mylk Bar in St.Kilda. So we've read many articles and reviews about their great food and coffee, especially cause everything is VEGAN. No more checking ingredients and asking annoying questions from...the waitstaff.... it's all there and it's all vegan. It brings another issue that is a bit more satisfying to handle. THE CHOICE! Cause now you can have anything from the menu so you want to try everything! We tried to sail our boat through the thickest part so we can taste as much as possible. Big Breakfast with v/bacon, runny boiled v/egg ... yummmm!!!! also Smashed Pumpkin with grilled vegalumi (haloumi :) ) and zucchini fritters ... Both of them are FANTASTIC!!! Just couldn't eat enough of it... not because of the portion size. That's very generous. It was just sooooo tasty that none of us wanted to put an end to our morning feast. The v/egg and v/bacon are truly the creations of an artist! Beautiful runny egg yolk and the textures just leave the confused gesture on your face for awhile. The Smashed pumpkin mixed in with hazelnuts gives a sweet, nutty, crunchy experience to your breaki for sure... what a great idea. Loved it so much... that accidentally ... shame on me ... I have finished my partner's dish as well and she barely had proper taste of it. (You need to eat prison style, cause otherwise food's gonna get stolen from ya plate, mate.) We also love our coffee and the MM's selection of special hot beverages is very broad. Tumeric latte is past tense (not off the menu, but ) .... almond butter cacao, spiced beetroot, apple pie, .... and so on... you need a week to give a proper trial to all of'em. Unfortunately we didn't have that time. Not a problem, they have a little tasting plate for the different blends, called the Flight! Definitely go for it if you have a chance. Our four little shots: Blue Algae Latte, Charcoal Latte, Mushroom and Date Latte and Purple Peanut Butter Latte ... :) FANTASTIC!!! We wished to have more time to try more of them. All of them! The presentation is beautiful and colourful. The flavours are ... WOW ... you would never imagine your morning coffee like this. This lifts the coffee culture game to a brand new level. (I still can't get my mind of the Apple Pie coffee... ) ... although just a suggestion: keep your coffee separated from this tasting platter ... it can alter the taste in a not necessarily positive way. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Absolutely great atmosphere. Definitely wanna go back to try all the other items on the menu! :) Thanks Matcha Mylk Bar!!! :)More

The food was tasty but the service was average. Cleanliness & hygiene also appeared to be a bit of an issue with sticky tables & water bottles.

This little cafe is beautiful. I wasn’t aware when my girlfriend asked my husband and I to go to lunch there that it is a vegan cafe. When we went we were a little shocked as we aren’t big vegan eaters. We were pleasantly surprised...by the variety of food on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. It is quite a popular place and it is quite hard to get a table. I think it would better suit in a larger cafe, but it is an absolute winner anyway. I love it so matcha!More

Was really hoping to like this place as I had been following their social media for years. I've been here on a few occasions and sadly disappointed on all occasions. The first time was quiet but took us 15 minutes to be served and given...menus. On another occasion I brought family which took us ages to be seated. Once we were seated the service was also really slow again, food taking close to an hour and one coffee about 25 minutes. On one occasion we overheard two conversations with two people coming in looking for work speaking to the owner or manager of the place. Was quite off-putting hearing the way she was speaking down to these people; definitely turned us off this place. Yikes.... Overall, the food isn't bad, but the service just isn't worth it, especially after overhearing how condescending and quite frankly rude management are to people that aren't customers.More
