The menu provided something for everyone. The food was sensational. The steak mouth wateringly good. The desserts to die for. The service excellent, they were efficient, friendly but left you to yourself. The ambience is great, although the restaurant was packed it was not noisy. 100% will return and recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

Amazing ribs and wine to be had at this wonderfully atmospheric restaurant. Definitely make sure you come with an appetite. The food is devine. Recommend booking a table if you go at peak times. It's right on the south bank of Melbourne.

I love meat & wine co. Every time I go to Sydney or Melbourne I make this a definite meal. However I went here and the service was so-so and very slow. We waited quite a well for our table, while we waited at the bar the bartender was slowly and not attentive. When we got our table the waiter... More

Service was reasonable, but the waiter did mix up who wanted which drink, took quite some time for meal to arrive, and my wife could not eat the calamari, much too tough, my steak, ordered medium rare was well done, and when I asked for the bill it took them 15 minutes to find change, guess they were hoping for... Went out for dinner with friends including a friend from overseas. I ordered a medium rare rump which was perfectly cooked. The crispy, tasty & succulent chips were great. Three friends ordered the kangaroo and loved it. Good choices of wine and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was introduced by Melbourne Tiny Tour's guide Crystal. She said the kangaroo skewers and ribs were good there, and they really tasted good. the kangaroo was tender and juicy.

If that child waiter once more came and said "how is it Guys" or "are you enjoying your steak GuyS, I swear I will throw the meal at him. Service should be attentive but unobtrusive. It is not at this restaurant. It would appear that the staff are instructed to lavish attention on customers. Meals were nevertheless excellent. The amenity... More

We booked here based on the Trip Advisor reviews and finished feeling disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad night but the meats while plentiful were very fatty and left a greasy taste in our mouths, the salads were fresh but very dry and we had to ask for some dressing, and the onion rings were overcooked. On the upside... More
