I loved my dining experience at The Point. Could fault nothing! The service, the food, the service, the view, the service, the experience, oh and did I mention the service. Worth every cent!! I had an overnight stay in hospital a couple of weeks prior...More

The staff were so welcoming and warm towards me and my family. They were very friendly towards my 5 year old daughter. The food was great too. Special thanks to Anika for making my night so special

We had the $87.00 set menu with choices. We all enjoyed what we chose. The service was excellent. The views are spectacular. We dined at 6pm and saw the views at daylight and through to sunset.

The Wrest Hotel seems to be the tallest building in Hobart. The rotating restaurant, at the top, offers an excellent view of the city. Service and food were excellent, but pricey. The restaurant has also a "formal-but-casual" dress code, so don't show up in sandals...More

A fabulous experience, the food, service and views are just spectacular. Superbly presented, the meals are far superior than many 5 star restaurants I have eaten at. If you have a special occasion ( or even if you don't) it's worth it.

Views were spectacular. Booked time of meal to coincide with the sunset. Awesome. Food and wine were fantastic. The special a la carte menu was extremely good value for money. Highly recommend if staying at Wrest Point.

We had a very enjoyable evening here. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and added to our enjoyment. We ate from the table d'hote menu - three courses plus extras. We had bread then a parmesan custard amuse bouche. Smoked pork belly was the entree...More

Went with my wife and another couple and had an awesome time. It is a bit more expensive than the average restaurant but I wouldn't call this an average restaurant. The 360 degree views and silver service and food and wine to perfection. Your back...More

This would defiantly classify as a 5 star restaurant, with 5 star views. But for me the meals were very expensive. The cheapest is a $35 meal. I really loved how they cook the prawns right in front of you, the prawns were about $45....More

If you were seated early and the children were well behaved it should not be an issue. It is more suited to adults, as it is romantic at night. it is an ideal place for a wedding proposal.

Description
***Please note the Point Revolving Restaurant will be closed for restoration works from the 22nd May until late July***

Seventeen floors above the River Derwent, The Point Revolving restaurant at Wrest Point radiates 'special occasion.' When the doors open and the view unfolds, you'll understand why The Point has been a backdrop of memorable dining for over 40 years. This Hobart restaurant is committed to people, produce and place. Our French inspired menu weaves some of Tasmania's finest ingredients into a dining experience punctuated with theatre and flair. Like the sound of Crepe Suzette cooked at your table with flair by our waiter staff? We love to put on a show at Wrest Point Tasmania, and this extends to dining. What's more, beyond the table entertainment, rolling views of Hobart's city, Tasman Bridge and Mount Wellington are priceless. If you want to celebrate, spoil those close and mark a new memory, let us set you a table at the top.
