Love, love, love the coffee :) Great barista and friendly, unpretentious staff. I've yet to eat here but looking forward to more greatness.

This is the first time I've ever taken the time to do a review, so that should tell you just how great my cappuccino was. It was hands down the best I've ever had, and I'd go back every morning if I could.

If you are a bit fussy about the coffee you drink, I expect you to be happy with the coffee at Villino in Criterion Street in the centre of Hobart CBD. Different single origin coffees from around the world guarantee you will not be bored if you visit repeatedly. Plus most of the Villino guys know just about everything possible... More

We only wanted something light for breakfast and Villino was perfect for our needs. Beautiful sour dough bread with sides and the best coffee I have tasted in a long time. Great customer table service and happy friendly staff.

Villino coffee never disappoints! Best quality coffee and the recent renditions make it a bit more spacious. I definitely recommend the chocolate peanut butter bites for a snack.

We had a light lunch. Stunning coffee and nice light lunch. It's a quiet lane where Villino is so pleasant to sit outside.

Whilst it wasn't quite worth a five, it scored a four easily. The salmon, cream cheese, capers & Spanish onion bagel was really tasty. Excellent in fact. We had a BLT melt too, which was only fair. The coffee was very good. Recommended.

Description
Established in 2008, Villino Espresso is the retail outlet for Hobart based coffee roasters, Villino Specialty Coffee. It is also the big brother to Ecru Coffee, a hole-in-the-wall coffee outlet located 20 metres down Criterion Street. The Synesso Hydra serves up the Synergy house blend for milk and regularly changing single origins for black coffee. Various brew methods - pour over, batch brew, cold drip - are available and one of Hobart's largest ranges of freshly roasted beans (blends and single origins) are available by the bag.
