Much better experience this time round. Food was outstanding, wine menu great and prices very reasonable for a seafood restaurant. This time round it was not too noisy so the experience was terrific.

It was, by far, the most amazing dinner in Tasmania. The moment we entered the place, we were captivated by the designs--truly a Pirate's dream place. Everywhere you look, it certainly is appetizing to the eyes. Not to mention the staff... Very attentive & quite friendly. Then out comes the food!!! The presentation, the smell, the taste!!! No exaggeration, but... More

We arrived without a reservation and found a large group had pretty much taken over the restaurant. The staff however were fantastic and went out of their way to find us a spot away from the noise, so we could enjoy our night. The food was good, well priced and well presented. The deco is cheesy, but that's one of... More

It was great to see that this place hasn't lost it's charm and great quality food. They were very busy but the meals arrived quick. The Tassie scallops were to die for and the hot rock salmon was a real treat. I hope to get back there sooner than last time. A definite must do when in Hobart.

Had the Seafood Chowder for Entree and Crumbed Scallops for a main. The Seafood Chowder was served lukewarm and the seafood in it was dry and stringy as if it was old seafood no longer fit for serving as a main course. The Scallops served were tiny, being about the size of my little finger nail and it seemed like... More

Busy night at the restaurant. Tables very close and cosy. Interesting decor. Good place to go at least once. Food came extremely fast - within 10 minutes if not faster. Was about to order some wine to have with dinner when our meals arrived. Great location. Good meal sizes and interesting choice in music.

Lovely staff, beautiful, fresh seafood in unique dishes. Fabulous ambience. Lovely wines and fantastic setting. The staff from the first phone call to book were professional and friendly, the staff could sense we were in a hurry as we had a baby sitter. The food was unique, interesting, fresh, Tasmanian and beautifully presented.
