We dined on a very busy Friday night with friends. The staff were great and our meals were delicious. We had individual glasses of wine from an ample menu as well as dessert; the best affogato I've tried. We would definitely return.

I have had many dinners here over the last 15 years. It has changed a little over that time but stills retains a lot of that homely character. It is the oldest Italian restaurant in Tasmania I think. Great wine and awesome service.

Service was very slow and my steak was served 10 minutes after the other members of our group. When it did arrive the "medium" steak was overcooked and dry.

Wonderful cosy warm restaurant offering excellent wine and food. Young staff truly professional and friendly. Much worth the trip away from the city.

We have been going to Hobart for nine years for business and pleasure, and always ensure we have a meal at Don Camillo. Superb food. Family owned. Don't miss this restaurant.

I visited this Italian restaurant with my mother for an intended pleasant evening. Our expectations were surpassed. After visiting another Italian restaurant earlier that year (Cugini) and being horrified by our experience, we weren't sure what to expect. This Italian restaurant has actual Italian staff, some fantastic Italian wines, and Italian food full of flavor and served in large portions... More

Good service and excellent food with a wide menu choice. A great range of wines to compliment the Italian food

Don Camillo is probably Hobart's oldest and now I know why it continues to be popular. We arrived and were welcomed by that lovely aroma of Italian cuisine. The 6 of us shared antipasto platters: yum. Our mains were 1 each of, fish, duck, pork, steak and 2 pasta dishes. All subsequent comments were positive about the food and the... More

A wonderful little restaurant hidden away in Magnet Court. Wide range available on the menu and a very intimate atmosphere makes this the perfect place for a quiet date night. Service is relatively quick, and the food is of a good quality.

Had a really good dinner here at the weekend. My wife had the the Penne Matricano and I had the Fileto and both were excellent. Local Sauvignon Blanc was very good. Only disappointment was that they were closed on Sunday night. Highly recommended.
