Venue was central and had some great old style leather chairs to sit in. We had breakfast, which was well priced and tasted nice.

I had some time to kill before the next bus was scheduled, hence, I entered the Dome restaurant for a quick cup of coffee. The Dome restaurant was actually a former Bank building. Unfortunately, the wait was quite long but then again it was lunchtime and the waiters were busy to deliver meals. However, the coffee was very good and... More

Popped in for an early dinner with my daughter. So beautiful inside. Also great service and food. Best chai latte I have ever had!!! Daughter loved her lasagna and the calamari was beautiful. Can't understand all the negative comments but from my own experience, I will definitely return!

Ended up at Dome after we couldn't get to Salamanca due to a fun run. The service was nice, a little expensive but not too bad The coffee was tasty, not overly hot though. The breakfast was a different story. We ordered a big breakfast. The poached eggs were hard boiled, the toast un buttered and overall not that hot.... More

We visit dome whenever we decide to go out for breakfast. Great food & customer service is hard to come by, so we come here as often as we can. Looking forward to some more waffles & a cappuccino sometime very soon!

An absolute let down. Coffee was luke warm, meals were below average. WA Dome cafes produced a better product in my opinion. Will not return.

I am a regular at “The Dome” in downtown Hobart. I go there mostly for their “Big Breakfasts” – you know the deal – couple of nice soft fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms, hash-browns, tomatoes, sausages, toast. Plus I normally start with an OJ and have a Flat White after my eggs. Well - today was a total disaster. First up... More

My friends and I enjoyed a relaxed breakfast on a recent Friday morning and we got there very early to do so. Other cafes nearby hadn't opened yet, but Dome was open. This made for a very relaxed setting as few other people were around. Staff are friendly and the food offerings are pretty impressive. The gluten-free range is a... More

If you don't have time for the restaurant experience this is the place to go for a quick feed. The food is great, you get what you ask for as well, I wanted crispy bacon with my breakfast and that is what I got.....excellent meals. Also had lunch there, the food is fresh and the staff very friendly.

Nice atmosphere. Good friendly service and a quality breakfast at reasonable prices. Coffee was pretty good too. There are more scenic dining options available close by in Hobart but Dome is fine for it's city street location.
