This location has become a favorite for lunch with my mum and I. Easy to park and great access with my elderly mum and great food and service. On the water and so cool during the hotter months its quiet enough to have a chat.

A family of 4 adults ate some wonderful local produce cooked with imagination and served by friendly and efficient staff while drinking excellent Tasmanian wine (a sparkling and a red) and watching the evening light happen outside the panoramic windows. Price wasn't cheap but also...More

Special lunch for elderly mothers birthday. We booked ahead and there were eight of us. Not enough staff for a Saturday lunch. Took drink order once then never asked again. We even had to request water many times. We felt completely neglected. Mostly only other...More

We went for dinner on a Sunday night and being in Hobart, in a place on the waterfront with a name like this we expected a lot FRESH seafood dishes. The offer is more bistro style with a few seafood dishes. We had the Fresh...More

Had lunch on the deck with wonderful views of the Derwent Estuary. Fish and chips and a glass of wine each were satisfactory without being startling.

My husband and I went there on Tuesday night. We ordered the crusty bread with garlic and herbed butter. The bread came out in very thick slices and the butter was so hard it was impossible to spread. We ordered the porterhouse steak to be...More

A group of us went for lunch and we chose poorly unfortunately. Those of us who had fish and chips were served small pieces of fish hidden in huge chunks of very oily batter and accompanied by half cooked cheap (frozen) crinkle cut chips. Those...More

A good place for a group of older people to dine and converse. The food was enjoyable and not overpriced. Servings sizes were appreciated, except for the pizza - a smaller size would have been appreciated. Unfortunately we were not attended to for offerings of...More

Comfortable and relaxed contemporary setting with nice water views. You can choose a table inside or venture outdoors under the awning. Both have views of the water. We dined here a few times for both lunch and dinner. Try and visit there when the live...More

If you like fried everything, then Mures by all means. Personally I avoid that greasy spoon. Frying scallops.....very primitive cuisine....positively trogloditic. Have had nothing but good food and service at Pier One. Would... More

Description
There’s waterfront dining, then there’s Pier One Restaurant. On a sunny day out on the deck, you could almost dip your toes in. This casual, bright Hobart restaurant is your place to sit with a chilled Tasmanian sparkling, good friends and delicate oysters. There’s something about dining in Hobart right by the water; interesting full flavour fare and an extensive wine list. Why not share something from the Light Menu - everything from local cheese plates to pizza. Pier One is Wrest Point Tasmania’s definition of relaxed dining by the water’s edge. Open from 11am daily until late. Lunch from 12pm Dinner from 6pm
