Stopped for coffee on the way down from Mount Wellington. Two large coffees with a ginger biscuit and slice of fudge. 18 dollars so a bit pricy. Limited food available mostly pies and sausage rolls.

I always like coming here. Everything is great - including staff. And the location is so beautiful. Even on a day like today - 3 degrees and shrouded in mist- people are around. Coffee. Turmeric. Take your pick. It’s all good!!

Dropped in after enjoying a walk on the mountain. Warm fire going. Excellent coffee and great service. We only had light food to go with coffee but Florentine biscuits were great. Highly recommend.

This is a small but well thought-out and maintained eaterie, with simple but great food and friendly staff... A good break from the usual, and the icy mountain exploratory!!! Defintiely on my permanent list for visiting with friends!!!

Shows that you can still serve good food and reasonable coffee at the top of a mountain. Was really good.

Mount Wellington really turned it on for us yesterday. Huge powerful winds with snow and sleet making for a very cold morning. What do you do but look for coffee and a warm spot. The Lost Freight gave us both. Both of them first class....More
